Office Director

Ebenezer Healthcare Access is hiring a full-time office Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Cincinnati Office.

Prospective candidates should be able to lead and motivate a team of employees, setting clear goals and expectations and providing support and guidance as needed and able to communicate effectively with employees, customers, and external partners.  Potential candidate will be also able to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse group of people, including employees, customers, and external partners. 

This job is in the Cincinnati area with a negotiable salary. Ebenezer is a 501 C 3 nonprofit with mission to help New Americans to address different social determinants of Health.  Ebenezer Healthcare Access partners with County Public Health Departments, Local Health Systems, academic institutions, and Faith Based Organizations to address Social Determinants of Health.  Ebenezer became a Community Care Coordination Agency in both Dayton and Cincinnati Cities to provide care coordination services to the underserved population.

Management 

  • Managing the overall operations of the office, including managing budgets, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring that policies and procedures are followed.
  • Leading and supervising a team of employees, including setting goals, providing feedback and support, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and productivity within the office.
  • Handling customer inquiries and complaints and working to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, including financial records, employee files, and client information.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to align the goals and objectives of the office with those of the organization.
  • Supervise and support care coordination services team by complying to local , state and federal laws.

  • Managing relationships with external vendors and partners, including negotiating contracts and ensuring that the organization is receiving the best possible services and products,
  • Attend relevant sector partner’s events and ensure their engagement in organizational events.

Grant acquisition

In collaboration with leadership team

  • Document research areas that are likely to attract more resources in line with organizational mission and goals,
  • Develop and apply for approved grants, 
  • Follow up on applied grants and update leadership team, 

Job Skills & Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree/master’s degree in a related field, such as business administration, Public Health Management
  • 5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and office software, such as Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop effective solutions to problems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Multilingual in 3 of the following languages will be a great asset: English, French, Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish, Swahili, Kirundi, Arabic and Kinyarwanda 
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
